The organization was officially launched as a local N.G.O since  july 2003.Dr.Alhassan Ibn Abubakarr is the founding father with the  support of his family and Gambia friends.It was registered  with N.G.O affairs as a charitable organization in 2006.We are located in Ghana town Brufut,W/region. Traditional Medicine and Home Care Fouudation (tmhcf a49 n.g.o)is  more focused on the  standard dispensation of traditional medicine  along with alternative medicine. How ever as the name implies we also hope to compliment Government’s efforts in sectoral developments;Health,Education and Agriculture.The organization is equally interested in the welfare of orphans ,children and women . Women form 80% of our affiliate membership from community groups of Brufut ,Ghanatown and  Tujereng
We are registering  Traditional Medicine practitioners and healers all  over the Gambia , whilst we welcome partnership from similar organistions world wide.Healers and practitioners of the organization are well versed in the  treatment  and management of chronic diseases such skin infections , headaches stomachache, swollen body , diabetis,  highblood pressure ,asthma and a lot more!
We are interested  to help the poor, sick and provide necessary skills for human resources development in The Gambia especially in the rural areas.
